Ancel happy with BG&E HD - GRTV

GRTV writes: ""It's encouraging us to work on that license," Michel Ancel told GRTV when asked about how the reception of Beyond Good & Evil HD has been. But how come we won't see the game on this generation of consoles?

"In fact, this generation of consoles is interesting for games like Assassin's Creed," Ancel said. "But for Beyond Good & Evil we want the world to be open and we want the player to be able to reach every place he can see. [...] That's why we're trying to find the best console to allow us to do that."" (Beyond Good & Evil 2, Beyond Good & Evil HD, PS3, Rayman Origins, Xbox 360)

Update The "game" talked about in the first paragraph is Beyond Good & Evil 2, of course. The article at GRTV now states "But how come we won't see the Beyond Good & Evil 2 on this generation of consoles?"

The man is such a tease. He's created some of the best games you can play, and he's wasted the last few years on those damn rabbids.

If games like Read Dead Redemption, Oblivion, can "bring us that horizon", then why the hell can't Ancel do that for this gen?

he was only with the first rabbids games. Maybe the second too .. afterwards UBi just went with the franchise by themselves
