EA is preparing some "big" announcements for Thursday for their Summer Showcase. Also, a few games have been confirmed for the event.

or Battlefront 3, or Syndicate related, or Medal of Honor 2, Mercs Inc. or Timesplitters 4(Crytek UK project was said to be revealed at E3 or shortly afterwards although it may not have been Timesplitters related), or others.
FPS..is the most popular game gener so i dont blame game companys pusing out alot at the same time..Its called business and in business u have to deal with supply and demand...The majority of the gaming population demand FPS so the devs are supplying them with FPS...I dont c any thing wrong with that...In fact i only play TPS or FPS Games...The only hack and slash games i play r when God of war comes out or a new ninja gaiden.
yes, i also think they are going to announce that Crysis 1 + Warhead are coming to PS3 and Xbox360
But i'm also hoping for Mirror's Edge 2. I love a good FPS, but be honest we have a lot FPS coming...

Man I hope it's a new game, even though a Mirror's Edge 2 wouldn't be bad. I think it just goes to show how people will make fun of EA all the time, but they're one of the only ones left who will go out on a limb and publish unorthodox games or milk franchises year and year.
I'm just hoping this one will be really unique from the rest and turn out to be one of their classic franchises, like Crysis, Dead Space, Bioware titles, etc. I already like most of what EA publishes, and even though I don't have that much more money to spend on games, another great franchise is always welcome.
give me another skate already. i know you killed off Black Box EA (you bastards) but the engine is almost at perfection. just give me more areas to skate. or reboot number one or whatever... i just want more

DICE has already hinted Mirrors Edge 2 after BF3 is done.
Maybe EA is trying to get the rights to make Battlefront 3 although Lucus Arts has received a license to make several games on the Unreal engine
