Gaming Irresponsibly takes a look at Uncharted 3's Beta. Although it seems to remind Franco of another game.
Seriously? I haven't played the demo but I hadn't heard that.
It not. MGO is more funner when it comes to the competitive mutiplayer. It faster and it takes more skill. @ the grammar nazi below It is to me.
funner is not a word
And you are not everyone.
will u ever get banned...
More funner? Really? ...wow!
I loved the gameplay features of MGSO, but the controls just irritated me to no end. I did get all my stats maxed out though (CQC took hella long). my dream game would be controls like UC with the MGSO game modes. SOCOM is close, but a little too plain jane for what I was looking to play. Sounds like UC3 MP is headed in the right direction though!
dammit warprince116 *round house kicks you and does a patrick swayze pose* Road House *then drags your unconscious body out of the PsTriple Duece Bar* I think and anyone with common sense, a brain, not warprince, would agree UC3 is akin to killzone especially the game modes
This is an insult to MGO. And briefly, Uncharted will never be taken seriously as a competitive online game, so long as it fails to provide complete control over player and camera movement. I absolutely hate how when you line someone up with the camera, then hit L1 to aim and it's a mile off to the right. Anyone reading this: Next time you're on the beta, stand still and press L1 a load, going in and out of aim... your player will slowly turn round. Such a fixable mechanic that won't be fixed and will cause thousands to stop playing the game, and they won't even realise why.
MGO was good, but yeah, lacked balance
UCH3 Beta has all the same issues as Uncharted 2.. Laggy Kills and the Blindfire like a douche then melee = kills.. Bullets lag and come at you in groups of like 10 so you get 1 shotted which is never good..
I was actually thinking that, and I love it
I agree, MGSO was a ton of fun. No prone and laying in an alley, sniping people though. Lol
Drake? Drake? DRAAAAAAAKE!
nice and original, bubbles
Congrats, you win!
They aren't even close to being the same. You might as well say "Uncharted 3 Multiplayer is Akin to Socom 4" and the list stuff like "It's in 3rd person, you play on outdoor levels, you shoot guns, and you taunt over enemies.
What an insult to MGO. But I do wish MGO had the co op modes that Uncharted has.
...there's a reason I left MGO. The game was so unbalanced and relies solely on your ability to make headshots. On top of that, they nerfed the already seemingly useless shotgun and got rid of the "box trick" On the flip side, MGO's steep learning curve will make Uncharted 2/3's multiplayer seem like a walk in the park.
MGO simply never worked for me. The download would never finish.
... really interested in this ... got rid of "box trick"? how? you mean when people were running around pressing l2 like crazy so headshot was impossible while they slowly aimed center of the screen and then shoot? if that is so, then it is time to get back into MGO. i left exactly from the reason box glitching was there and almost everyone was doing it. it looked damn stupid so i stopped playing the game. well, that and cqc expert (which was fixed) and to break everyones bubble in UC camp. comparing UC MP to MGO is pure insult to MGO. MGO promoted skills and team work, UC is damn fire fest where everyone simply runs to blatantly overpowered weapons.
Remember that Naughty Dog wants everyone to post their feedback on the Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Multiplayer Beta on www.forums.naughtydog.com this weekend!
read my post comments on my profile and the first step that got me kick butt in the uc3 beta is to play uc3 like mgo. in terms of corner approach and use of ads.
UC3 < MGO
