"Summer is here. The sun is shining, school is out, everyone’s hitting up the beach, and the video game industry takes a “3 month hibernation.” This is the time of year commonly referred to by the gaming community as the “summer drought” and this year makes no difference. Where the second quarter saw the launch of the Nintendo 3DS, the return of GLaDOS, and hell freezing over in the form of Duke Nukem Forever‘s release, there isn’t much to follow it up in the next three months. That is, unless you’re into cheating wall-climbers or shoving a lancer through locusts."
