Rockstar Tops Treyarch with XP - Red Dead Redemption Quadruple XP and New DLC Tease

Net Media Now - "Yesterday, we reported that Black Ops is having a Double XP long weekend, but Rockstar has just raised the bar with a Quadruple XP weekend."

The story is too old to be commented.

I Have plans to get Read Dead Redemption

Criminal2641d ago (Edited 2641d ago )

You should get it, I think it's one of the best games of this generation.

Edit: If you liked GTA IV, then you'll love RDR.

hamburger1232641d ago

if you have la noire, its better than la noire.

Criminal2641d ago

Haven't played LA Noire, do you recommend it?

BubbleSniper2641d ago

infinite paradox incoming

EazyC2641d ago

If you've played L.A Noire, get RDR.
If you've played RDR, get L.A Noire.

Paradox right there.

Answer me this: If this is the case, and assuming everyone lived by the two statements, does anyone own either game?

bloodybutcher2641d ago

yeah,i have them both as well,la noire is quite good but to me RDR was-and still is-one of the best games on the story and mp is such fun, especially with friends.

I got Red Dead Redemption for PS3 two days ago and I'm having crazy amount of fun. Believe me, Rockstar accomplished so many things that they couldn't with GTA IV. It's a MUST buy. A little advise from me; don't watch the YouTube videos about the game since some of the "a-holes" spoil the ending. I already know how the game ends thanks to some jackasses.

Criminal2641d ago

Absolutely, the setting gave them a chance to really make the best sandbox game, you can interact with anything.

Danielmccue2641d ago

I lost my Red dead redemption disc while renovating my room :(

EazyC2641d ago (Edited 2641d ago )

wish they would have came out with more single player DLC

WhiteLightning2641d ago (Edited 2641d ago )

Will John actually survive this time, maybe they can go down the path of revenge like The Outlaw Josey Wales. Let's say the Government come early for John but he's not home at the time, instead they kill Abbi and Jack. John then comes home and is devestated with the lose of his wife and Son which leads him down the path of revenge against those two corrupt Government guys. He gets help from people he's met over the course of DLC which finally leads to him getting his revenge.

Oh and it means that in the end of this "DLC" John and Bonnie can become closer. Come on we all wanted to see Bonnie and John get together.

WhiteLightning2641d ago

It's just a suggestion based off the plot of "The Outlaw Josey Wales" lol :)

I've always wanted John to get with Bonnie at the end of Red Dead but since he has a wife and Son killing them off is the only way it's going to happen.

arjman2641d ago

They sorta seem made for each other :)

bloodybutcher2641d ago

not in my world,i always try to shoot bonnie xD well,i tried to knife jack as well,tbh...i love wild west:P

EazyC2641d ago

If anyone likes RDR, watch Once Upon A Time in The West.

My favourite Western, one of the greatest movies of all time. You will not believe it was made in 1968 if you watch the opening scene.... Mind blowing stuff.

Theres a few nice nods to the film in RDR too, which is always cool to see.

reddeadite2641d ago

Another awesome western film is The Wild Bunch. That's definitely one of my favourite movies ever

bloodybutcher2641d ago

hmm,one of my favourites is Unforgiven.i am not a big fan of old westerns.
