Andriasang: Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayView image viewing technology brought PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable users interactive manuals and manga. Now sony is taking the technology to a new level.
first! 6am in the morning rpgs in 3d for the win ninjas
Really You just said first. *sigh* And the new viewing sounds interesting, will be interesting to see how it goes.
What a tool Why do you have so many bubbles? Also, really interesting stuff, very tempted to jump into 3D soon. It seems to be a great success.
Great, sounds good to me. Don't quite understand it though lol, 4X Full HD resolution? surly can' be used for games...
Hahaha 4K res. Yeah...umm, lets focus on getting Uncharted 3 to play in native 1080p first? No? Nevermind then. I understand Sony have some lofty goals for their precious 3D futures but until I see some real hardware that can actually delivers, I'll remain skeptical.
OK smarty pants, I guess I wasn't clear enough. I didn't mean Game play, Obviously I am aware of the limitations of current consoles... 'Developers will be able to include PlayView-based content directly in games by making use of a PlayStation 3 library that allows them to call up a PlayView utility from the game and set what page to output and how large to output the images.' I was referring to this part of the article.... I was wondering how it actually could be implemented, But you just read what you wanted to read, didn't you?
Well, how fast is that thing? It's mostly used to zoom into images seamlessly. And that is quite awesome tech. I was wondering if that could be used to scale textures (e.g. dynamic mip mapping or something) going with a 4k texture as a default. If you can drop a 4k image onto a billboard in game, than you got that right there, basically.
Someone pour a pot of melted gold on this guys head... little too negative for the morning.
Interested to give this a shot. Looking forward to a new 3D fix.
reward decreased to 0z dam you diablos. MH in 3D :)
I really hope the sony tv work on pc or I will just get the vizio.
