2007 has been a terrific year for racing games. After a barren couple of years while developers got to grips with next-gen hardware and whatnot, the steady stream of masterful driving titles gamers have seen these last 11 months have made 2007 a year to remember.
Or at least, it is if people own a 360. Unfortunately, if they don't then they will have found the pickings somewhat more slender. Granted, the PS3 has seen the likes of MotorStorm, Sega Rally and a belated McRae DIRT port, providing PlayStation fans with a decent spread of quality racing action, but compared to the feast of motoring excellence that the 360 has been serving up of late, they could forgive PS3 owners for feeling a tad envious of the Xbox faithful.
