10 reasons Mario Galaxy could be a perfect 10

1UP can name ten reasons why Super Mario Galaxy could be a perfect game:

"Anyone who's been paying attention lately should know that Super Mario Galaxy is going to be really good. But how good? Consoles - smb1, 2LL, 2, 3, world, 64, sunshine, Galaxy.
Handhelds - Land1, land 2, New SMB.
they're the ones with mario as the protagonist following the SMB format.

But that's just the nature of an old franchise. and those games have changed a lot over the years. World is dramatically different to 1, as is 64. 11 games so far including galaxy.

ff13.. others are heading that way Tekken. Guess everyone should be bored of those soon too.

I'm not saying that new IP's are bad thing by any means, but some can stay fresh and some you dont want to change. Galaxy really doesnt seem as if it's just repeating more of the same, maybe i'll be surprised at how little is different when i play it (doubt it though)

There would have to be a fourth spatial dimension for that. It looks more like Mario Sunshine than Mario 64. Not that it's bad or anything... it's just that I'm not as excited for this title as I was for Mario 64 when it came out.

I thought it was great fun, and very different from a lot of what was out there for platformers. Cool environments, too, I thought it was a pretty good time.

Maybe the extreme break from tradition may have alienated a few fans. The name Sunshine, generally associated with homosexuality may have played some part in it as well.

Lets be serious the only reason it will get a 10 is because of the nostalgia factor. the game will be a good platformer nothing special but becuase it's mario it will get a 10. I would laugh my ass off if it was mediocre and got a 10.

It's not on the PS3...of course they're gonna give it a 10! From what I've played of it...it doesn't seem like much more than Super Mario 64.

I don't know if the game is in any way revolutionary (I only played like 20 minutes), but I must say the game was fun. You just feel compelled to move on to the next level. As for the graphics they are not as impressive as I thought it would be, but you forget about it after 5 minutes of play.
