It’s an irrefutable fact that the future brings innovation, and with innovation comes change. It occurs to me that these changes may not always be for the better. In recent years we’ve noticed something has been a little off with games when they first come out, almost as if the initial release was simply a rough draft. Throughout the year we swarmed with a giant wave of various patches, and quick fixes, but only when gamers actually complain. That’s what got me thinking: has innovation made game developers lazy?
