I'm playing Tales of Phantasia on ePSXe with english patch since I have no other choice because my PS3 slim died the other day. I have played almost every Tales game that has come out to the West and let me say that none of them are match to the original.

The first time I started playing this game was like 4 days ago and I played it for like 16 hours straight. The last time I played a game for more than 2 hours was MGS4 in 2008, that's how good this game is.

If they make a re-release or remake of this game I would love to play it again. I'm 30-something hours in, almost at the end and just doing side-quests to unlock a secret character but I can already say that this is one of the best Jrpg I have ever played. Easily comparable with Chrono Trigger in every aspect: characters, story, music you name it and both of them share the same premise, Time Travel. I love stories that involve Time Travel, that's why I'm so hooked with "Steins;Gate" now too.
