Why Don't Hardcore Titles Get the LEGO Treament?

The LEGO name is taking the video game world by storm, but it seems like some of the more popular titles are getting left in the dark. Sure, we have Star Wars, Batman, Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean, but what about those others, more hardcore, titles that games love to play? Well, one fan has decided to take matters into their own hands and create a video trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Revelations using LEGO characters and give us a bit of hope for what a hardcore LEGO game could be like.

If it was a new treatment, I would easily enjoy a Mass Effect lego or something but now it is like those "guitar hero" games. So, thanx, but no thanx.

This is true, but the people who would flame you need to understand that doesn't mean it isn't for all ages as well.

Lego's primary audience will ALWAYS be the younger one. Just because the games are fun for adults, doesn't make that any less true.

Because every Lego title seems to be the exact same thing - collect Lego pieces - as every other title?

same can be applied to all games for example: fps- (seek and destroy),racing (go from point a and finish first at point b). rpg (save mankind from a certain doom) and etc...
