VG-Reloaded Review: White Knight Chronicles II

VG-Reloaded: The original White Knight Chronicles was a disappointing RPG that had a mediocre story, dated mechanics and never lived upto its potential. The sequel hopes to put this right along with having a Director’s Cut version of the original thrown in for those new to the series, but is it enough?

The signs:

"I still have no idea what the point of your own designed character..."

"This time around you can actually play with upto 5 players online to tackle the game through co-op"

"The sequel hopes to put this right along with having a Director’s Cut version of the original thrown in..."

The character is used online, that is its SOLE PURPOSE, the reviewer would know this had he paid attention. The servers have been up 10 days now, so there's no excuse for not trying the online portion.

You are not playing "co-op through the game". The story mode and online quest aren't related let alone being story mode played with friends how he makes it out to seem.

It's not a "Directors Cut" in any way. It's WKCs 1, remastered to be 1.Prettier, 2.Have the WKCs2 battle system implemented.

It has to be that way since when you do New Game+ from WKCs2 it starts you over from part 1. It would be uncomfortable for the player if their battle systems were different.

Couldn't stand the first one and will not try the second one. This is a horrible cartoonish boring game imo and if you want an excellent jrpg this gen there is one in lost oddesey and possibly talesof vesperia. I loved both of those as they are on a whole diffrent level then this tripe.
