A new gameplay video for Asura's Wrath, a very promising game developed for PS3 and Xbox 360. Enjoy.
WOW, just wow, im speechless, day 1
yeah, i love asura's temper
It's like dragon ball meets god of war. AWESOME!! though needs some work on the voice acting unless they have subtitle option.
I thought the voice acting was pretty good tbh. Very impressive game. Man, with all the great games coming out, I'll be skint :D
Complete with the drawn out, ultimately meaningless talking that holds up the action. XD
Yea...this game has been on my radar for quite some time now. Day 1 for sure!!
Looks quiet confusing but other than that it looks good. It looks like a brawler beat em up version of Vanquish for some reason.
since i first saw the trailer awhile back this game has just amazed me looks awesome.
looks nice, but sadly it plays like an interactive movie, QTEs and then it plays a prerendered video...
Asura´s is pretty much a Majin Vegeta :p
Liking the game even though its coming off as having a tons QTE that wont change regardless of results.
Umm, am I the only one who doesn't think this looks good at all? All I saw during the boss battle was a bunch of laughing by the giant followed by missiles that involved QTE's, then more QTE's. I then skip to the part where he's firing at the giant airship and all I see is a rail-shooter like interface with QTE's and a bit of punching to the side.
Besides the gameplay not looking fun at all, this is just Japanese Devs trying to make a game that appeals to western gamers. So they make a game based on Asian Mythology with Huge bosses and a Violent and Angry Protagonist who is seeking vengeance for a injustice that was done to him and his family. Hmmmmmmm, does that story sound familiar people? I'm not a GOW loyalist or anything, but this game is lacking and looks boring. I'm Not interested in this game at all.
Thank you, I was beginning to feel like I was the only one who saw that. From the beginning of the gameplay, you could tell that the game was made by a Japanese developer. There just seems to be very little innovation from the Japanese industry right now.
@Takoulya Appearently Stig from God of War would disagree with you because when I met him at E3 it was his game of the show...so what do you got to say now!
...So? I really don't care what a game-maker thinks of another game. My opinion is my own. It's sad that you actually expect me to change my opinion with such an argument.
well at least we know there is seven bosses
It looks like it may need some more work. There's way too much QTE's and the targeting on the game looks kind of odd. But the flow of battle is amazing, and the cinematics are above par (sounds like the guy who voiced Piccolo returns as Asura. :D) even though the scripts needs to be improved. I don't like the old dip in the amnesia pool but I guess its what's cool these days. I am still waiting for the day Cyber Connect 2 and P+ games team up to make a masterpiece but Ill still have my fingers crossed for this game.
I played it and the lock on is perfect the player in the vid just sucks. As far as the QTE's they are just one of the many different types of game play mechanics in the game.
The jury is still out on this game for me !
