GameBlurb writes, "Probably one of the most challenging monsters we will be facing at Skyrim this year will be Dragons. Lucky for you they won’t be appearing to quickly for you in the game."
I hope there'll be a super hard difficulty where there will be dragons randomly from the beginning....I like a challenge.
Why? You'd just die because you're ill equipped. Especially if it's a "super hard difficulty".
Thats the point of it, haha. It's not actually impossible to kill an extremely hard enemy when you're ill equipped in an Elder Scrolls game, just takes forever. And lots of dying.
Yeah, I think I'd like it more if the attacks were based on area, so if you wander into somewhere you shouldn't be you'll just get punished instead of it sort of holding your hand.
I agree. Being a low level and in the wrong place at the wrong time trying to out run a giant fucking Dragon would be intense.
So, it's not really random then if they are deciding when is a good time to see a dragon.
Well i think it still is but it'll unlock at a certain level. plus they did say you would still encounter them but they would be weaker ones and you would be with another member.
@DankJemo @Nitrowolf2 Yeah hopefully when u reach lvl 10 or something they'll appear, they'll have to pace it well along with the realtime.
Hasn't it always been like this? Its not until you reach a certain level that the stronger enemies begin generating. Still i cant wait to see what the requirements are before being able to see those dragons. i doubt it will only have to be your level. Maybe you will have to have a certain type of weapon and armor. Or perhaps an amount of a certain type of enemy slain. CANT WAIT!
2 to 300 hundred hours worth of total gameplay. I hope thats not including making a new character? Either way I can't wait.
no thats one char.....oblivion was about 200 hours....at least everyone i met has dropped 200 hours into the game
Oh ok 2 to 300 hours of original gameplay with one character, maxing out his skills till you're fingers are bones. Lol sounds good to me.
You haven't technically met me, but you can add me to that list. Hell you could spend at the minimum 50 hours playing seeing new things and not even touch the main story line.
someone can beat this in 2 hours?! NO WAY. Jk, I know you meant 200 - 300 :P
im ready right now....which is remarkable seeing as the game isn't even out yet.....i still wanna punch one in the face as soon as i start only to be murdered
i wanted dragons from beginning shame hopefully they wont get extinct like the buffulos in red dead redemption
does anyone have any new gameplay videos?
The last one that I saw was on the G4 E3 coverage. They played with the devs for about 10 minutes or so. Looked absolutely epic.
do you have the link?thanks in advance.
I was wrong...it was 14 minutes. :) Here's the clip:
I hope that the dragons in the skyrim world respawn...nothing would be more awesome than to level grind on dragons and collect their souls.
Good to hear, can't wait for this game and I'm gonna pick up the 5th anniversary edition of Oblivion next month to prepare (with trophy support and a $10 coupon for Skryim).
Beth's dragons = Fire spewing flying Death Claws.
This is my main reason for the gaming rig I'm going to build. CANNOT WAIT.
I cannot freaking wait for this game!
I've never played any of the Elder Scrolls games, but this one is shaping up to be a must own. Have previous games had storylines that tie together? Are they in the same world or are they like Final Fantasy's where each game is in another reality?
The world and cultures tie the games together, the story in the games don't.
random death from above is fine, expected as one ventures deeper into wyrm territory with newly minted 1st level fodder.
