Gearbox Software boss Randy Pitchford has said on Twitter that "Customers love Duke" and sometimes people prefer "greasy hamburgers instead of cavier".
As a character maybe, but there's no denying the greasy hamburgers you've been selling are rancid.
from what ive been seeing and hearing at the moment no they don't lol why does it have to be caviar? i don't know anyone who actually eats caviar which would you prefer a greasy hamburger or a hamburger that is just as good without the grease?
gonna have to agree, love the character. but i played the demo and it had mediocre graphics and shitty controls. didnt care for how the guns felt/shot either
Just goes to show you that reviews don't really matter. People like games regardless of what someone else says. In the case of GTA4 many people didn't agree with all of the 10/10s.
I do prefer "greasy hamburgers instead of cavier".
Me too. Caviar is horrible. I think people pretend to like it because it's expensive.
Well anyone who'd actually become a customer after the deluge of negative press, must really love Duke.
Not really. This negative press is bullshit. The only problem with this game are controls(RC car) and loadings(PC version on my pc - ultra settings - each was loading like around a minute). Graphics aren't top notch but are good enough not to ruin the experience, and this game is fun as hell.
I don't have an opinion of the game. Haven't played it. But you're not going to pick up a game knowing nothing about it, right? So either you read reviews or you're already a fan. If you listened to reviews, then you didn't buy it. So it stands to reason that the people who are buying the game, love Duke. No?
I like the game. End of story.
The main problem i found with the game is it is severely unoptimized. It just keeps crashing after some period. But its the same old Duke but somehow he feels misplaced this gen.
I think it's way too early to tell what "customers" think of the game. It's not like the first week buyers had a chance to try out the game before they bought it - they bought it, because of the hype and because it's Duke Nukem. Heck, the game hasn't even been out a week yet. Let's see how well this game sells in the next few weeks. Then you can get an idea of what the "customers" truly think.
Sadly this guy is mocking the people that brought this crap at $60 and more importante mocking the fans!
Yeah but a greasy hamburger better not cost 60$.
the game is utter shit, get over it. Some games flourish and others die in shame; accept your destiny gearbox.
