IGN - Best of Xbox 360 at E3 2011

IGN - E3 is over, and now that we've all voted on the best the show had to offer, IGN has had the time to reflect on what the best moments were for each platform. Microsoft opened the show big with games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Gears of War 3, and two new Halo titles, but they also signaled an even bigger push for Kinect, and new initiatives to make your Xbox 360 even more of an entertainment hub. So with so many different directions for Microsoft's almost six year old system, what stood out the most?

Here's what I liked at Microsoft's conference this year:

-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
-Tomb Raider
-Gears of War 3
-Halo 4 big reveal
-Fable: The Journey
-Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
-Mass Effect 3
-Forza Motorsport 4
-Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
-Kinect integration into hardcore titles
-Live TV

Sounds like we're on the same page. Cept for Fable: The Journey. Fable has a hard enough time as it is without being on rails.

Don't care about Kinect integration, as long as a game like Ryse doesn't go Kinect only. Also hate that purple "Better with Kinect" banner. Would been better grey or black or deep green.

Purple appears to be Kinect's color. I guess it stands out better. It can't be green because that is already the 360's color.

According to Peter Fable: The Journey isn't on rails, but that demo wasn't convincing at all, maybe he doesn't know what on rails means?

But What I liked about MS.

Call of Duty (surprised me since I'm not a COD fan)
Tomb Raider (Probably the best thing IMO)
Gears 3 (Day 1)
Ghost Recon Kinect Weapons (building weapons was dope shooting not so much)
Mass Effect 3 (talking worked, but it's a little weird)
Ryse (looks interesting)
Halo: CEA (we'll see just how good the original really was compared to the newer games)
Halo 4 (It was the only Megaton)

The problem with MS conference was that most of the conference was 3rd party, Kinect, or games we knew about for over a year now.

I know it was shown on the E3 stage, but The Witcher 2 coming to 360 is a big deal.
