We've all heard about the CryEngine 3 rumor and Xbox 720, but Kinect may actually be the centerpiece in that strategy...
Well MS said all future games will have Kinect support so...
But MS was talking first party obviously
How did people disagree with you? sigh....
i hope they drop the 720 this holiday 2011, I know it will not happen, but that would be so badass, I know it's gonna be 2012 when the new xbox releases, but I would love to pick one up this november......
"I know it gonna be 2012 when the new xbox releases"..... Have you heard something that I havn't??
I don't get you. you act like an anti-console, PC elitist all the time but now you want to pick up an xbox 720, which probably won't be more powerful than a current high end PC? Or are you just anti-PS3?
Actually new consoles are usually less powerful then the current gen PC they are released just because of cost to make but they usually have excellent first and third party games.
"Actually new consoles are usually less powerful then the current gen PC they are released just because of cost to make but they usually have excellent first and third party games. " This is not true, a console may not have the processing power of the pc but it has a heck of a lot less overhead that more than makes up the difference. I would say the next Xbox at the time of release will have just as much power as most high end pc's easily. Look at Gears Of War when it first came out, it looked on par with just about any PC game at the time.
Crytek's games suck. Crysis 2 was not even good, and I am being serious. Edit: @Below, do you even play their games? It's all the same POS game and all they do it "better" the graphics...in Crysis 2's case they DIDN'T. Shit looks like a POS console port on PC. Do you even own a gaming rig? Or are you some console kiddy who lives with their parents?
Newtype's opinions suck. The above comment was not even good, and I am being serious. :o
and you know that one disagree you got was from him. haha. Okay now i got one from him. Damn you've got 2 now...okay. I did a FAIL. On topic: I fuc&ing love Crytek.
Far Cry was ok till I got up to the aliens part. Crysis 1 I actually enjoyed because I was able to blow s**t up and play the way I wanted to get to the objectives and I enjoyed power struggle in MP. Crysis 2 is straight up trash
Crysis 2 wasn't bad but it was a disappointment. I think they should stick with jungles :/
Thanks for the "kiddy" remark...makes me feel younger. :D I'll be 40 on Sept. 30th, if you really want to know...and yes, I have a gaming rig: Intel Q9550 Quad nVidia GTX 560 Ti 8 Gb Ripjaws RAM Vista 64 My wife hates it, because I really only have it for Crysis and Witcher, and game primarily on my 360. Feel free to disagree,..and throw another tantrum, since you can't reply. ;)
Why is there even rumors about this crap? There's not even confirmation that MS is working on the 360's successor.
crytek fails a lot this gen... cryengine 3 will run on next gen calculators!! They are first to jump into new tech but under perform when compared to ps3 first party devs or Dice!
Yea, They complain that consoles right now are way underpowered, and then move on to technology that's not coming out for another couple of years. And heres Naughty Dog creating games that look like they should be on the ps4 with that out of date hardware. What ever happened to the good ol' fashion Crytek that enjoyed bringing our computers to their knees?!?!?
say what you want about Crytek but they are making Timesplitters 4 now so lets hope for the best
I hope so...
I really hope that all that time, money, and r&d did not go into the non-future of kinect. Its starting to feel less like an option and more like an ultimatum, buy into our motion technology or game elsewhere. They should just call the next Xbox, Kinexbox. That being said Timesplitters 4! Yea! I hope all goes well and the next gen gets it right.
It was a fun game there was some issues, like seeing your reflection that was odd to say the least and other graphical hiccups but the game ROCKED!
