Head2Head: Alice: Madness Returns Screenshot Comparison (Lens of Truth)

Lens of Truth writes - "Welcome back for another exciting Head2Head! This week we got to jump on through the looking glass with EA’s Alice: Madness Returns for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In her latest adventure, Alice is using the Unreal Engine 3 to make her way around Wonderland – so needless to say, this one should be interesting." (Alice: Madness Returns, EA, PS3, Spicy Horse Games, Xbox 360)

Finally someone did this comparison. BTW The outdoor terrain textures on the PS3 look really bad compared to the 360 version.

Yea they pretty much look identical. The missing textures on PS3 in the ourdoor screens give the 360 the advantage in this one though.

Its been a while since the 360 looked better in one of these comparisons but I think it gets the nod here. Game looks crazy.

I've always wanted a good Alice game, I think I'll pick this up for the 360 when it drops in price. Outdoor areas look just a little better.

MLAA on PS3 and some blur filter for 360, the contrast and color also seems a little off on 360.

Shadows and AA look better in PS3.

Textures look better in 360.

In the end what really matters is the performance.

all i have to say is......did they finally figure out the PS3 anti-aliasing on unreal engine 3????? HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! arkham city better follow suit.

and also, while the 360 has higher res textures and (perhaps) more defined shadows and stuff......for some reason the screen shots just look "nasty" compared to the ps3 ones, and i don't mean that in any good way....weird.

Wow I thought when you guys said that the outdoor environment looked better on 360 I would be thinking "I can't see a difference at all", but it clearly looks better on 360 than PS3. Hmm, which one to get, guess I will get 360 and dig it out from my room, after months of being dominated by the PS3 xD
