Fanatec details new racing wheels for Forza Motorsport 4

XMNR: Just like evey hero needs a theme song, every racing simulation needs a hardcore racing wheel to go along with it. Turn 10 Studios has partnered with Fanatec to develop two racing wheel accessories for Forza Motorsport 4 in both the Forza Motorsport CSR and Forza Motorsport CSR-Elite models.

I own 3 Fanatec wheels already and can tell this author of this article he is way off base with what these wheels will cost. He is trying to compare them with MS wireless wheel and what they retailed for. Fanatec wheels by themselves (no pedals) usually cost $250 alone.

These wheels are custom for one game which means they will be even more expensive. They will probably run between $500 to $700 dollars for the complete packages.

Edit: Just found this video on youtube.
They will cost upwards of $700 but they look sweet!
I might get one. Why not, it's only money and we can't take it with us.

Edit part 2:
I just checked Fanatec's site and they don't have them listed. That's not a good sign. They probably wont be available to the masses until months after the game is released. Fanatec usually does preorders well in advance of their products release dates.

The CSR Elite reminds me of the T500.

I'm with you Brutal, as an owner of a GT3 RS and GT2 there's no way I'm not adding the Elite to the collection!

The author isn't totally wrong, Thomas has stated that the CSR is going to be priced between the Carrera and GT2 with the Elite becoming their top of the line.

Tomorrow my 3d monitor turns up to transform my iracing experience, a CSR shifter and Elite wheel will be the icing on the cake!

Queasy these are all knew wheels and Dan Greenawalt himself said you can play Forza 4 with a $700 wheel, in the video I linked above.

Maybe the CRS will cost below Fanatecs belt driven wheel like the Carrera but the CRS Elite will probably cost between $500 to 700 dollars.

I don't see any paddle shifters for the Elite but I do for the CSR, strange.

i will consider buying that wheel since they announce it would be usable on my pc and ps3 as well as my xbox360.

I have a G25 and i am loving it on my pc and ps3, Ms really failed gamer because of this. I would have bought all the racing game on my 360 if i could have used my wheel.
