The Wii U Can Support 2 Wii U Tablet Controllers According To Nintendo Of America President

Industry analyst Michael Pachter claims that he spoke to Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime who informed him that the Wii U will feature support for two Wii U tablet controllers. Shigeru Miyamoto previously stated to gaming press that the “basic premise is that you can use one with a system.”

The way they showed this console in their press conference left everyone with soo many questions. I'm 100% sure there are still people who think that the Wii-U is just a controller, because not once did they clearly show the console. They focused entirely on the controller.

They're just confusing consumers now, which is the exact opposite of what the Wii was meant to do. They need to release all the details to everyone quickly.

I think they didn't show off their console because their hardware isn't finalized yet. That's what Ubisoft said at least. If that's the case then they should have waited though.

so what happens if you're playing a 4 player game and someone wants to watch the TV? would everybody start to play on the 6" WiiU screen

2 is good enough for me. Any sort of set-up where two players are are doing their own thing on their own screen would rock. A much better solution than Sony's "glasses-required" 2-view monitor, imho.
