Chris Buffa (Modojo): Last week's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2011) was critical for both Sony and Nintendo, as both companies gave the world a much deeper look at new hardware.
Wow @ Modojo's undying love for Nintendo's "Baby First Tablet" peripheral. All I have to say is, No thanks, I'll take a Vita.
Even though it looks good, I'll wait till it gets some good games, then buy Wii U in 2013 or 2014. Going to spend the next 2 years gaming on PC, Wii and 3DS. Might get an NGP too if it gets games like Rachet & Clank, Wipeout and Flower ;)
"Sony Could Learn From Wii U Controller" Learn what?? How to make cheap plastic controllers?
Don't the Chinese kids do that for them?
You mean expensive plastic controllers
You mean, copy what Sega did with their VMUs for the Dreamcast controllers, add some new tech (resistive touchscreen) and then sell it as "teh innovationz" OUCH!
modojo sure has its hate on for the PSV... i wonder why?
hits... thats why
first time i ever heard anyone champion analog sticks above the buttons.
More like Nintendo can learn a lot from the PS Vita. What's so great about the Wii U? Nothing.
What in the hell is so great about Vita?
I know! Sony could learn to steal all of Wii U's exclusive games with Vita connectivity...
More like nintendo could learn from sony too be more hardcore
Sony could flick the switch to get the PS3 and Vita to do everything the WiiU is doing. If they wanted to that is
Whatever. Can't you just leave it be for once?
and I can understand some of that being their preference.
good points in this writeup, all of them correct aswell what are u playing at sony. tut tut
I love these "Sony could learn from ____" articles, as if the company that has sold the most consoles in gaming history has no idea how to make good hardware...give me a break Modojo.
Sony always steals Nintendos Ideas Look the last example Wii remote being totaly copied disagree all you want but what is keeping sony forward its that they're big company (bigger than nintendo) so they have more money more potential,,,....... Thank you
Yawn!I'm bored of listening to little Ninty fanboys crowing about innovation for the last 20 years.Nintendo had some great games but now they are the least creative in software terms of the big 3 and guess what? It's the games that count. You just keep rebuying the same games while we play the new IP and creative downloadables. The Wii is a giant DS is essence but you people are so blinded by company loyalty you can't see anything objectively. The Wii mote is a piece of crap compared with the Move(which is based on motion tech that existed before the Wii.I used Eyetoy PS2 a fair degree. It got boring but it is clearly the forerunner here.) The problem with Wii U vs Vita is that Vita looks like a better controller before you even factor in it being a handheld. Proper sticks,Move motion array(which Ninty are copying by the way),front and rear MULTI touch and in better positions on something not the size of a tablet.
now thats a fanboy post there if i ever saw one LAFF
