While labelling this as a Brothers In Arms title may be a curious decision to say the least, Furious 4 was easily the most exciting new FPS to be revealed at E3 and it's fpstribe's tip to be next year's best shooter. Here's why...
LOL, are you kidding me? There is a shooter coming out next year with a 4 attached to it's name, and if you honestly think that this spin-off (Which isn't being well received by BiA fans) can beat it, you're just a bit touched. I mean, it LOOKS interesting, but I honestly have my money with Gearbox on Aliens: Colonial Marines right now.
Nah, not kidding. Just calling it as I see it and what I saw was a shooter that was funny, silly, gleefully brutal and pretty fresh. It also didn't have a number after its title, which is something of a cause for celebration in itself. As to the BIA thing, well that's got to be some nutjob in Ubi's marketing department deciding to label it under that 'brand'. Far from surprised at the negative reaction from fans.
Cannot wait, this looks like raw, violent fun. Something Gearbox seem to becoming the flagbearer for.
Looking forward to getting my friends together and sawing through swathes of enemies shouting 'Bonjourno'.
I asked the guy demoing off BiA... why they chose to go with the BiA's name when it doesnt look anything like it. He replied with that the title is called the Furious 4 and that Brothers in Arms is just a name for ubisoft ww2 games. But he did say that BiA would go back to the style that it started out as
Hmm i wont judge untill i see all the shooters next year.
But my moneys on GRAW FS, i love R6 and Ghost recon.
