Ireland considering tax breaks for the gaming industry

After years of a constant back and forth struggle with the British government,Pixelitis reports that the Ireland is in serious talks to create a tax break for the videogame industry.

Great news and all but should ireland be doing this considering the uk recently bailed them out. I do hope the uk government look at this closely

There is tax breaks for Tech companies in Ireland already, its the reason loads of Microsoft's money goes through the country as well as EU HQs of loads of companies.

As far as Irish game development goes, one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) physics engine comes from Ireland.
