Wired: Kinect Star Wars: Watch the Train Wreck in Action

Ben Kuchera from Wireds Game Life writes:

"I played many great Kinect games at E3, such as the sublime Gunstringer and the goofy Fruit Ninja Kinect. The peripheral has a lot to offer gamers, especially when it’s put in the hands of gifted developers who see the motion controls for what they are: a challenge to be met with novel mechanics. Then I played Kinect Star Wars, and I began to despair."

Hmm.. Idk about this one.

Reibooi2717d ago

Yeah there seemed to be significant lag between his movements and the games as well as from what he was saying the game just seemed awkward and unnatural to play which is the last thing you want with a controller free game(I mean isn't making the game natural to play without a controller the whole point?)

SilentNegotiator2716d ago

WHAT?! What makes you lose confidence? The 2 second lag, the unnatural controls, the on-rails-ness??

Tell me, man! What could make you have the slightest bit of doubt for this masterpiece?

SilentNegotiator2716d ago

No, no, no; they act as a lag-SWITCH. That's why Anakin was able to win the pod-races.
