Skyrim; romantic relationships/friendships being 'planned'

SystemLink: "Wunderbar! Bethesda has decided to take a leaf out of Fable's book, allowing players to have romantic relationships with other characters in the game. While it is not known to what extent these relationships can be taken, or if they'll have any affect on the gameplay or plotline, the inclusion of the feature has been met with satisfied applause by many."

Cool. I wanna be able to have children and raise them to be gamers like me.

There are no consoles, or computers in the Skyrim universe.

The only way you will be able to have children and raise them to be a gamer like you is to venture out in the real world and get a real girlfriend.

... or play the sims. ;-)

All I know is using the word "Fable" in the same sentence as "Skyrim" and adding a "like" in too boot, er, me no likey.

Already have one.

How could this be in the planning stage if the game is due out soon?

My thought exactly. Not sure why you have a disagree. Oh yeah... N4G. Sure seems like something that would be implemented at this point, not planned.

Hmmmm... I sense... I sense potential awesome. I sense something along the lines of... Call of Duty prestige. But in the form of taking over as a child you've raised. Creating a lineage that would allow you to create various characters whilst never leaving the one world.

Which would be fucking impossible to integrate but shut up I'm allowed to dream.

lol that idea has some potential mate, and I like the COD prestige analogy! lol

I think it would be cool if you could build your own crew.... a bit like in the Nights of the Nine quest, but picking different people from potential recruits and maybe set up your guild place as like a small town!

Well I just hope I don't have dudes coming up to me with big love hearts over their heads asking me if I am a sponge or a stone like in Fable! I don't think he enjoyed getting a sword through the head much....

Really looking forward to Skyrim though... looks awesome and like they are trying to evolve the game! I can foresee a fair few gaming hours being spent on it!

Does anyone remember Oblivion's adoring fan?

Man, that guy died a lot of horrible and progressively inventive deaths at my hands.
