Nintendo’s online service has never been up to scratch by today’s standards. Although it was functional, it never really helped users find great content quickly and easily. Nintendo knows this and with the new eShop for the 3DS, it’s obvious Nintendo are heading in a much better direction. With the Wii U, it seems it’s going to get even better. So when you hear Satoru Iwata say that Nintendo have reached the starting line for their online distribution is a good thing.
