What it's like to play Child of Eden on Kinect - a minute of gameplay

SystemLink: "Child of Eden is one of those artsy games. It wears think rimmed glasses and knew Neutral Milk Hotel before they were famous. It doesn't have time for anyone who likes Hollywood movies, or works in a suit - too mainstream, man. But whatever you think of Child of Eden - good Lord, it's beautiful." (Child of Eden, E3, Kinect, Xbox 360)

I don't understand the hype for this game. It looks like an ordinary on-rails shooter with poorly implemented live-action acting.

I've been intrigued by this game since it's announcement. However, for the life of me I can't understand why they've (Microsoft) upgraded the price on Kinect titles originally meant to be downloadable. Gunstringer and Project Eden were originally supposed to be $15-20 games. I know I'm not alone in that my interest was closely tied to price. If the games are worth it then I could change my mind however we're still talking $30 more tacked onto the retail cost :-/. If the games lack in replay value or critical reception I suppose I'll rescue them from the bargain bin...

Play REZ and wait for this one! I don't care what reviews will be, I know that it will be a masterpiece of art and emotion! :) REZ was one of the best games I've ever played :)

I've never played Rez, and this game looks ass.

I have a feeling that even if I play Rez, this game will still look ass.
