E3 2011: What was missing [The Gaming Vault]

TGV's Herman S. Lilleng takes a look at what DIDN'T appear at E3, and speculates what happened to highly anticipated titles like The Last Guardian and Metal Gear Solid: Rising. (Beyond Good & Evil 2, E3, EA, Metal Gear Solid Rising, Next-Gen, PC, PS3, Tag Invalid, Wii U, Xbox 360)

I'm not really a PC gamer...
... but I just bought a new PC last week so I was kinda hoping to see Microsoft Flight make an appearance at the show.

A Sim City 5 would have been nice as well.

I also would have liked to have seen more XBLA/PSN titles being announced/shown. I'm still hoping to see a Rallisport Challenge 2 HD or even a Rallisport Challenge 3.

Those are good picks, I didn't even think of Microsoft Flight.

E3 is the super bowl of console gaming. ever year less and less PC titles are displayed at E3.

I think this years Gamescon in Germany (where more and more PC titles and developers attend) we will see more PC titles showcased like we did last year. I think Gamescon is what PC Gamers look forward to.

GamesCon August 17-21 Cologne, Germany

Wednesday 18 August 2011 Electronics Arts Press Conference (SimCity)

Thursday 19 August 2011 Microsoft Studios Press Conference (Microsoft Flight)
