Why did they change the score! Oh dear GOD NO! It better be more awesome 343

Noooo they haven't changed the score. The score remains the same, but they are merely re-recording it with a live orchestra.

Although CE's music sounds orchestrated, it's all done with samples. It's not actual live instruments. They're merely giving the same music better production values essentially.

Thats fine then, Live always soundbetter imo. Check out FF7 world map theme with it.

What were they thinking

lzim2685d ago

hmm, as the odd console without BD this isn't surprising. but with BD they could have included lossless audio (and probably a mandatory install anyway). game should be available on the marketplace as a download.

All they've done is re-recorded it. It will just sound better.

since when have journalists been developers? There is no confirmation by the developers that they have changed the audio. The only thing the developers have said is about the 2 engines running side by side.

So the guns sound different? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH

HeavenlySnipes2685d ago (Edited 2685d ago )

I haven't played the first for years, and don't really like Halo anymore, but I can still remember the music from Combat Evolved.

Bad decision IMO

EDIT: NVM, just recording it with an orchestra
