Battlefield 3 is equipped with full scale destructible environments and an all new gaming engine. Take a look at one of the most anticipated games of E3.
More PC only :-(
It's the best version of the game. Surely DICE wants to have their product represented in the best possible form for the media.
I agree with that but the masses will be playing it on consoles. Show the masses what we're buying this Oct 25th.
I think so, too. Consoles will outsell PC version again. So, why not show something to your biggest customer base?
Well, PC is the lead platform. And as a lead platform, it's probably closer to the final product than the other versions. The console versions are probably still a little way off from being ready to be shown. There's still 2 months to the beta launch in September, so I think we'll start to see some console footage before then.
ps3 was playable at e3..
It was SUPPOSED to be playable but no one ever mentioned a word of it being there for PS3 :/
Have any footage of that? Wonder that not a single youtube video emerged, yet.
I know they had some computers that were playable with a controller (not sure if it was PS3 or 360), but I hadn't heard of a playable console version.
PC and PS3 is the way to go with BF3.
Sucks that they're not going to support move. I disagree with them that a controller works better for shooters because i had a much better experience with Killzone 3 using the move controller.
KZ3, Socom4, Resistance3...agree with you.
Wish I could hibernate until the September beta gets released!
You could just do this for three months haha
pc rains supreme
This game is what would make console and other platform gamers want to build a PC. It's nice to see devs make use of the better technology and I think you should get the most value out of what you payed for. Off topic: While it's nice to see this, seeing BF3 on Frostbite 2.0 make me drool thinking about what Mirror's Edge 2 would be like. If anything it makes me want to see Mirror's Edge even more. I just wish EA looked at that game as I did and not just "that single player game".
