I think in this video it looks like two halves of the screen are stretched to full screen, it's not two full screens

LOL so they figured out how sony did it eh? Thats pretty clever. Wont see me breaking 2 pair of 100 dollar glasses to do it. Still gonna get the 500 dollar tv as I've yet to purchase a 3d tv yet to even try this.

No, these aren't active shutter glasses. As the title says, this is a "Passive 3DTV". Meaning, it uses the same technology you see in the Movie theaters with the cheap glasses they give out for free. You could probably buy a whole bunch of these glasses on Amazon for an extremely low price.

This is probably going to be the new norm for 3DTVs because the glasses are dirt cheap and don't have to be charged, or anything. They must have just came out, because I never knew they had 3DTVs like this.

makes split screen actually more viable than its ever been and akin to playing online.. if only we had this tech back in doom days!! lol
