Submissions open for Interactive Achievement Awards

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has opened submissions for the 2008 Interactive Achievement Awards. The 11th annual awards ceremony will be held on February 7, 2008 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas. Members of the publishing and development communities are now being asked to nominate titles for the awards.

The AIAS is a non-profit organization for the videogame industry that recognizes outstanding achievements in and contributions to interactive entertainment and game development. The entire Academy membership, numbering 12,000 people, has the ability to vote for the five Game of The Year categories.

Gamespot will be streaming the awards live from Las Vegas.

If any games are going to be mentioned
it's definitely going to be Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, FFVII, etc.
