Kotaku: The Reinvention of Lara Croft

Kotaku writes: No Tomb Raider reboot has been as substantial, none could be as meaningful. In delivering to gamers a young, inexperienced Lara Croft, Crystal Dynamics doesn't seek to just reboot the series, but to make it's heroine into something we as gamers connect with emotionally.

The story is too old to be commented.

I can't help but think that 10 years after it was fashionable, Eidos finally give Lara the grimdark treatment.

I can't wait to see which developer outdoes the other in terms of turning the protagonist into a meat sack, CD's Lara, or Naughty Dog's Drake.

It's like they thought Uncharted was good because Drake look like crap. Instead of the tight gameplay, great set pieces, witty dialog... you know stuff that actually maters.
