It's good to be a FF fan if you've only played Square Enix games..

There hasn't been a time where Square Enix has lived up to the expectation that the original members of Square Soft set.. only thing that can save the series is FF15 or FF13 Versus if neither then I'm done with the series.. but you can enjoy it w/e

Indeed! I thought I was the only one liking FF 13. It was a bit too linear though and I would like to have a place to hang in like a town with extra quests and different things to do. I do hope 13-2 improves on that!

I hope they make it more open this time around. Because the linearity of the first one hurt it a lot.

Wait same characters with same terrible dubs? Count me out :P

Seriously, let's forget gameplay, storyline, and linearity.

Did anybody read that shit in FFXIII? I wanted to choke myself through every dialog sequence. Vanille makes more noises than speaking actual words. And how can you actually like a character when his name is SNOW. WTF is that.

Until I get a quality FF game, like FFVI, square won't see a dime of my money.

Looking good already!

I liked FFXIII a lot, but XIII-2, I don't know. It's not grabbing my attention. FF trailers usually get me excited, but this one failed to do that. I'll still end up buying it though and, if it ends up being crap, at least it had moogles!

I'm not sure you could call me a "rpg fan" I mean I have FF 7, 8, & 10. I like Fallout 3 and am looking forward to Skyrim (I know these are entirely different types of rpgs) I just couldn't get into 13. I didn't care for the characters or the melodrama.

I guess I just like games lol. If a game looks good I'll play it, I'm not genre specific.

The dialogue choices looks like it will add some more replay value. I'm definitely keeping my eye on it though.

As someone who enjoyed FFXIII, despite not living up to its potential, this has completley put me off. The trailer looked awful imo, and the new guy was just another generic girl-boy looking Tidus. I'm praying that they don't shift the focus from Lightning to this guy.

Agreed. As long as Lightning - or Serah - is the focus, then all is well. Not Noah.
