We haven’t seen everything from Battlefield 3 and yet it destroys Modern Warfare 3 at E3

Now that both Activision and Electronic Arts has released their 8-10 minute E3 demos, it is clearly evident that Modern Warfare 3 is the inferior title concept wise and technological wise. The scary thing is, DICE hasn't even scratched the surface of what Battlefield 3 will do this October when it releases. (Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Dice, E3, EA, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

BF3 seems yawn so far. The demonstration was nothing compared to what's being shown by Robert and SpikeTV.

pretty much destroys everything shown at E3. I believe day 2 some PC developer will show something big but right now BF3 is killing E3 2011.

The BF3 tank thing bored me to death. IDK what it is but I hate driving tanks in games. The first 2 minutes of the video was just riding forward, it ddin't really get much better when they made contact with the enemy either. I have no doubt that BF3 will be fun, but what they showed wasn't it.
On the other hand I loved the MW3 gameplay and I can't wait for both games.

I have to agree with Carlos and Hatiko here. Yes, it's undeniable that the graphics and sounds in BF3 are incredible and definitely better than MW3 and probably any other game I've ever seen. On the other hand, I still am more interested in MW3 because, well, it just looks more fun, and that's more important than looking amazing to me.

That's always been my problem with BF - it tries too hard to be real and real war can be quite boring (after you take out the risk of death of course). Sure, they're pushing all the technical bars, but it's still just the same old tank gameplay - roll forward, aim with slow moving crosshairs, shoot once every 30 seconds - nothing new or innovative to the actual gameplay. BF3 seems to keep a lot of the downtime too - running from place to place, driving the tank across big empty deserts, etc.
