So where is the “improved” RPG Elements for Mass Effect 3?

GameZenith.com writes: "So Mass Effect 3 has finally been revealed with gameplay footage and an in-game trailer at E3 this year. While I am excited to see how the new combat features look such as multi-level environments, large scale battles, and melee combat, I am more concerned to see how the claimed improved RPG elements are." (E3, Mass Effect 3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Based off the gameplay footage, there is virtually NO RPG elements.

there is no improvements just more action based crap

It's called appealing to an audience, don't jump to conclusions
Bioware wanted to craft an appealing presentation, and show how much combat has been improved. They didn't want to get bogged down in menu's and going through everything.

I'm sure we will see more with time, and based on cover story's from magazines, there ARE more customization options.

LOL, these guys have done nothing in Advertising obviously. I'm not saying that this OP is not plausible. But this is E3, people are wanting to see what the game will be like during the hot bits. It's about a galaxy wide invasion.

Bioware will no doubt be releasing Dev Diaries, and I'm sure the RPG elements will be a focus.

Would you rather watch a presentation about micromanagement?
Or see actual gameplay?, personally I'd rather watch pure gameplay. I'll check out everything else it has to offer for myself next March.

Would rather "see" a conversation and some general improvements with how you interact with people. To know weather or not you're still scanning planets, or get to use that hover tank more.

Wrong!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution was showed off behind closed doors at E3 last year and I was there to witness it. They showed a variety of stuff such as combat, dialog, multiple ways to accomplish task, and even inventory management/RPG systems such as uprading (augmenting) your character and other things.

It isn't possible, it is just that it isn't a priority for Bioware and hasn't been since Mass Effect 2.

The ridiculous roll animation.

They improved the non-existent RPG elements. We can't really prove if they did or not, though.

It is clearly evident that Bioware wanted to create a Space Sci-Fi version of Gears of War....
