Check out the latest gameplay of Assassin's Creed Revelations from e3 2011
Due to some player issue of the site (duration different with the actual video), i have updated to youtube on the site
Hooolyy s***!This looked beautiful...
It looks the same to me but with new weapons and a new story.
confused by the history...Constantinople got conquered by 1453...its 1511 here....so i think it was Istanbul by then...plus i believe that they had the blue mosque in the background and that was built in the early 1600's.... anybody else got any ideas on this?
Graphically brotherhood was fine so only minor tweaks are needed there and if you mean everything else looks too similar then that's because there isn't a massive progression of time between the games. And obviously gameplay doesn't need to change much.
@MintBerryCrunch I think the name constantinople lingered around a long time after its fall, though it was also informally called Stambol well before then, from which Istanbul is derived from. I think the Mosque in the background is the Hagia Sophia, which was built in 532 AD (In its current form), but converted from an Orthodox church, to a mosque after 1453. I think the use of what looked like Greek Fire on the ships might not be historical though, I think, it was used exclusively by the long gone Byzantines, and was already falling out of use even by the Fall of Constantinople. I'm hoping for some of the game to be based in the city in Altairs' time, though I'd prefer seeing Byzantine era, over Ottoman.
Wow that was amazing. They improved the facial animations and I love those bombs.
in 240p? Can't really make out anything
Looks just like any other AC game.
