Peter Molyneux has unveiled Fable: The Journey at E3. It's a "leap forward for the franchise," he told attendees in Los Angeles.
Fable on rails... I'll pass.
LOL at the CG footage. It doubt it was real. 1. he didnt walk using the kinect. he stood perfectly still 2. its aall first person? =/ And if its real..LMAO on rails?
Lmfao oh Peter. Fable: The Rails unveiled.
Yea...the CG was laughable Seen better CG during the PS1 FF & Tekken days
Yeah I thought it just looked like it was on rails.
I actually felt bad for the guy demoing that.
Kinect kinect and more kinect... oh great disneyland adventures and another "skittles" type performance
fail on all Fable games except the first one, tbh. things were always promised but never came to fruition. and by the time they got to Fable3, it was so dumbed down... worst purchase for a video game for me
Cant believe how LAME The Journey is. was that a fable about a Journey??? damn MS your presentation so far is WEAK!!
looks like socery for move...
Eh looks bland
ummm wtf...was this...
Fable... on-rails... in first person mode. They've essentially killed the franchise!
Such a shame what they have done. Most of the demo was on rails. Why not use the controller and Kinect
I imagine that the people who already feel that Fable has bent itself to be more casual friendly aren't going to be happy.
Its a wrap man. Microsoft doesnt care.
we said that but the delusional fanboys wont understand the show so far was 95% kinect. If you dont have a kinect you cant play their games. I bet COD BO2 will also use kinect.
OH GET THOSE POINTS!
DIDNT I TELL YOU PEOPLE? ON RAILS is the only way to move
I'm confused though, during the Ghost Recon thing, was he moving by himself?
no he wasnt really.
Oh, dang, so i guess Kinect really can only do on-rails.
This and Disney Land adventures looked good...
All trolling aside, I'm really tempted to close the bowser tab which the Microsoft conference is on. Disney land adventures?!? WTF??!!!
Holy Crap!!! I just saw sesame street characters LMFAO!!!
LMFAOOOOOOO!!!!! Microsoft just sh*tted on its whole fanbase.
Was the star wars kinect trailer on rails too? I thought it was hard to tell.
Hmm.. I thought it looked pretty good.
star wars game looks terrible.
Sony's sorcery looked better last year. Why is Lionhead studios of which used to be well known risk takers degrading themselves to creating lame on rails games for kinect? I fully expect the Sorcery game to blow this one out the park.
the first fable i wont be getting
why does kinect have to ruin everything.
So because part of the game supports kinect and possibly on "rails" the whole game sucks? I thought the spell casting was pretty cool.
Now their showing FUN LAB WTF is MS doing?? tracking with fingers haaaaaaaa steve ballmer need his head examin. this is the WORST E3 from ms i've EVER!!!! seen.
So cringe worthy!
Peter needs to retire. Fable needs to retire. This game needs to go away and M$ needs to stop trying to fit all kinds of games into that worthless HD/DVD add on also know as Kinect. Shit is a fail.
Is HALO 4 really going to be Microsoft's big E3 announcement? That really can't be it? Seriously?
unfortunately for them, the game is like a year and a half away, and everybody already knew about it.
Sony and Nintendo have time to re-think their conferences. They can save some stuff for later in the year or even next year at this point. It seems like MS is kinda giving up. I really don't understand their strategy at this point.
Nintendo is waiting in the wings having a good laugh. I can't wait to play the Mario 64 open world sequel on their new console while my Xbox collects dust between Halo sessions.
i've defended molyneux time after time, but if he honestly thinks this is the future of the fable series, then he's finally gone off the deep end. my only hope is this is being forced on him by ms and after this they'll let him make a proper fable game.
I am truly speechless peter peter peter all that cash has left you all MAD!!!
