E3: All The Hype Of A Tradeshow With None Of The Substance

E3 is that special time of year where publishers shell out gobs upon gobs of moolah to promote their upcoming titles. It’s where the pretentious video game press gathers to collectively stroke each other and pretend they are actually journalists, all while deciding which titles you should be excited about (or which titles placed the most ads that they will now get you excited about). Most importantly though, it starts the hype wagon rolling for the holiday season.
