. Up until a couple of weeks ago, it was all about Battlefield 3 and all the video's they were running. Now that Activision has started advertising their game MW3, it's a bad thing...O_o E3 hasn't even started yet. M$ and Apple have their press conferences tomorrow and if Apple announces their own console then they will be the talk of the show and dwarf most other news. Nintendo will have a showing for their new console and it is rumored to be at least as powerful and if you believe the rumors 50% more powerful than anything out at present time. Showing the little Italian plumber running around at 1080p 60fps will be tough to beat. M$ might shock the gaming world with their own new console and show Halo 4 running on it. Sony may have a new console as well since the new PsP2 runs a quad processor, maybe that was a peak at the new PS4. Lots and lots of game announcements and showings. MW3 is not a new IP and people are hungry for something exciting and new...hold on to your hats, E3 is going to be massive this year.
I think you might be expecting a wee bit too much from E3 in 4 brand new consoles lol.
Yeh totally agree, 4? Little bit greedy there.....
I still don't understand how any of the 3 companies can lose e3. I thought it was a show to display their upcoming plans for their respective systems. Are their any judges that gives the specific company a trophy? Or are the judges the Fanboys on each side that will talk veal to the others. I just wonder how many Wii2 fanboys will come out of the closet. That's going to be hilarious.
Inside & out, your 0 for 12 buddy.
we still have a few good years before the next sony or microsoft consoles are annonced. also, activision isn't going to "win" E3. E# is an expo not a game show!
I agree that victory goes to most covered as that show.. But with project cafe, and sony's MASSIVE conference.. I think it's safe to say we won't know who has won until e3 ends.
That's because we gamers win. This may sound hella cheesy but srsly..cmon...
Well to be honest at the end of the article it says that no-one wins E3 but there are losers.
Yeah but I was really replying to inside_out who seems WAY too into it.
nintendo wins ds localizations, 3ds games, wii localizations, project cafe they really cant lose
Last time I checked there were no "awards" for E3. Whoever "wins" is purely subjective and no actual "victor" exists. That said, most people don't consider individual developers to even be in the running for these events. It's all about the Big 3. So no, Activision has not "already won" E3.
The article is more to do with the gaming press not covering the smaller publishers.
The Game Critics Awards, a set of annual awards held after the E3 video game conference since 1998. The awards given to products displayed at E3 with the titles Best of E3 of their category like...... Best of Show Best Original Game Best Console Game Best Handheld Game Best PC Game Best Hardware Best Action Game Best Action/Adventure Game Best Role Playing Game Best Fighting Game Best Racing Game Best Sports Game Best Strategy Game Best Social/Casual Game Best Motion Simulation Game Best Online Multiplayer Game Those are awards.......
Lol. Bunch of Activision fanboys on that website...
Im hoping activision gets a big dent this year by bf3, ppl dont fall for there new service as they will eventually push this as a normal subscription. Give it a couple years trust me if you buy cod and the extra service it will be set in stone and other games devs will follow, will be if you want to play online you have to pay. It be like blizzard and world of warcraft if you dont want to pay monthly subscriptions, you know what to do. End day you have the chance to make a change now. EA set the ball for activation fee with fifa tigerwoods to play online. And now i found codemasters dirt 3 have done the same. Make the change say no. 1 person wont change anything few hundred wont change anything ,thousand will turn heads few thousand will do damage.
Ill b honest. For the first time, myself and most of my friends arenot interested in mw3 anymore. Things have changed and other companies are proving that they are willing to push forward, to go the extra mile to create a better experience. I'm looking at skyrim, u3, & of course b3 as my fps this year...and many, many hardcore gamers are too. For the life of me, i don't understand the infatuation over what has become an average game.
The prees arnt to blame its the Parents who buy there kids COD there 2 blame!!
The only win would be if they announced Diablo 3 coming to ps3/x360/project cafe sometime after it's PC release. I'm still surprised they haven't put WoW on consoles.
Activision releases a COD game every year, but I dont remember it winning any awards (except for best fps).
First of all E3 haven't even started yet. and we don't know who the victors are right now.
the faggots at IGN are the main reason for this ... worse CoD fangirls ever..
Isn't COD Activision's only game to be shown that's popular? So how could they "win" with just one game? If any publisher has a chance at "winning" its Bethesda with all their games coming out. and if this is about COD and not Activision, then they certainly won't win. Sure COD's bound to get attention, but not all of it will be positive from the words spreading around about their elite service. and if they show multiplayer it won't matter since Battlefield 3's multiplayer will destroy any attention COD will get. They need to focus on singleplayer and features to level with BF3 this E3(we all know COD's online is the same)
All gamers will win the end as well as the devs they give us games we give them money. So it's a win-win situation.
haha, BIG NO
I wasn't aware E3 was a competition, I thought it was an expo. Silly me.
What a COD fanboy I guess he hasn't heard about Battlefield 3 yet, I believe when critics go preview MW 3 their going to open their eyes and see that its the same shit but with a new coat of paint
ACTIVISION, win E3? What the hell kind of logic is that? One overrated game with an overpriced service doesn't win the conference. This year will most likely go to Nintendo or Sony.
