Examiner - Hunted: The Demon's Forge Review

Examiner: With the heat index in Washington D.C. climbing to a staggering four billion degrees the past few days it's the perfect weather to stay inside with your gaming system. In the wake of L.A. Noire's release and a week before inFAMOUS 2 lands, players might be looking for something new to fill the seven day drought. Those who have had their fill scouring for clues and interrogating witnesses are seemingly left with one option, inXile Entertainment's Hunted: The Demon's Forge. (Hunted: The Demon's Forge, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 2/5

there are far too many idiotic things this reviewer claims to be in Hunted The Demons Forge that makes it a bad game ( reloading the arrows takes too much time? GTFO of here...there are 3 different kinds of bows, each of which has a different reload speed (of course the 'slow' bows are going to be slow as THEY DO THE MOST DAMAGE..its called GAMEPLAY MECHANICS...)) Some people should just stick to playing video games rather then try and give a critical analysis of any said game.

"stereotypical protagonists" is a surface view analysis only. Upon getting to know the characters it is quite the opposite. But one can expect with such a shallow analysis the reviewer might come to that conclusion.

"experience is really only fun when shared with a friend."
Also untrue, i'm currently playing through solo until one of my friends buys the game. I'm currently having a blast with it. The AI does a decent job and the characters talking and bantering back and forth keeps it from feeling like a solitary affair.

this game may not be any sort of master piece. it does not have the best story. neither the best graphics or even character design. but most scores out there at the moment are simply retarded. giving negative points on things that are either misleading, dumb or not true about. despite the shortcoming of those I mention above. the overall game play mechanics and design are pretty top notch. especially when you are playing in co-op mode with a friend. and thats where the game really shine. I am enjoying so much from this game when adventuring with my friend in co-op. I say this game even after taking away points from those I mention it still deserve at least a 7.5-8/10 simply on the gameplay department. when playing with a friend I would give it a higher score of about 8-8.5/10. For those who likes co-op gameplay this is pretty highly recommended. dont believe in those dumb reviewers. Journalist these days are just meh....
