Microsoft Bringing Razorfish's DaVinci Kinect Experience to E3

According to their Twitter page, Microsoft are bringing Razorfish's DaVinci Kinect experience to E3. This is notable for a few reasons. Firstly it is, or was, more of a tech demo than a game. Secondly, why is Microsoft bringing open source PC Kinect hacks to E3?

The obvious explanation is that Microsoft may simply be giving more details on the official Kinect SDK, and DaVinci is one of the first apps ported to it from an open source environment. A more exiting prospect however, is the notion that Microsoft are ready to show off Kinect XNA apps playing on the Xbox 360, downloadable via a new app stor

When I saw this, I instantly thought of how From Dust could make use of this. Especially if the game revolves around the management of materials like sand. (ie picking it up, and placing it somewhere else)

It's a very neat application and it'll be inetersting to see what MS has in store for it.

I saw 2 guys saying ms app for kinect could be interesting, each with 3 disagrees. Will it ever change on n4g, i thinks not.

Anyways, it could be interesting and i do agree with xi. Could be cool.

I've been saying this for a while now, Kinect would be awesome if it had some sort of app store with cheap games and apps to buy.
