Star Trek games shouldn't be action games, Star Trek wasn't about that. Sure, have some action oriented scenes in away missions with cover to cover phaser fire etc., but the game's focus should be on exploration, diplomacy, strategy etc.
Kind of like Mass Effect meets LA Noire with space battles and some civ-ish elements.
The last Star Trek game I bought was Elite Force for the PS2. I look forward to this but I hope it is not an movie tie in.
