The whiteboard is pretty cool and gameplay looks like it'll be really fun.
It's not as fun as it clooks. The controls are clunky.
wow...game looks, well....shit. have NO intentions on playing it. A rental maybe...yeesh!
I would love to go up to a developer who does rain effects and ask them, "Since when do rain drops stick to your eyes like that?" Other than that, looks good. I wouldn't mind being able to play with the twins a bit more.
Demo is as straight forward as it gets. The beginning portion with the stadium footage is where the demo starts. You take down the monster at the stadum. Then you go to the canyon map and drive for a bit. Vehicle controls are clunky compared to being on foot. Duke has a sprint button which is a nice touch. Shooting is ok. Enemies fight back pretty good. Some guns are better than others. The locations in the demo aren't anything we haven't seen before. 2 different kinds of melee attacks- a side hook and a straight punch. Feels and plays pretty much how you would anticipate it to. Not too different from the original Duke games.
