Could Contra Utilize The Fox Engine?

TGH Writes: "It is possible that Kojima has gotten tired of the Metal Gear Solid series now maybe trying to come full circle by HD remixing the second and third entries and his classic Zone Of The Enders. Maybe Kojima wants more and was offered the new Contra. Here are our ideas of how it may play out and our reasoning as to why." (Dev, E3, Fox Engine, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

It would be interesting to see it utilized in a new Contra game. However I would love to see it in a completely new IP.

I just want to see the new Contra... I don't care what the engine is. However, if they're using Fox Engine for it, I can't imagine what Contra will be like. Surely they wouldn't use Fox for a sidescroller...

Countless hours on the NES. The best shooter on the NES for me. Still remember how sore my thumps were and lots of spring replacement for the controller buttons lol!

Love me some contras but please reboot the game as I dont think the contra story has aged well.

Loved the contra for NES. That was co-op shooting at its best. I would love a new Contra, but maybe not a traditional side-scroller, more like MK: Shaolin Monks, but with guns. Speaking of MK:SM, I would like to see a sequel to that as well!
