Rainbow Six Set to Invade New York With Home-Grown Terrorism

A new interpretation of the classic Rainbow Six, the tough-as-nails tactical shooter that asked gamers to carefully plan out the nuance of a breach like a choreographed dance, is in the works, a source familiar with the unannounced Ubisoft shooter tell Kotaku.

this series has so much potential.. too bad Ubi doesn't know what to do with it

ROFL.........you are an idiot.

Cover system takes you into 3rd person. WTF? They will never learn. :(

PhantomT14124709d ago

It's better for console, especially for a tactical shooter.

DeadlyFire4708d ago

Not very tactical approach. I vote Red Orchestra 2 over this. Cover system all first person = tactical. Console or not. I can't jump out of my skin to see around a corner. That's not tactical. No reason a console game should do that to a tactical game.

Valvatorez4710d ago

Wohoo! Another game set in New York, keep 'em coming guys/s.Anyway,I'd pick shooters like this over CoD anyday.

Shackdaddy8364710d ago

I actually wouldn't mind this. R6 would work pretty well in New York. Tokyo would be pretty cool too...

crazyturkey4710d ago

Lol, criminals in video games love to invade New York.

limewax4710d ago

Agreed, Im pretty sick of seeing all these real life locations myself, the one thing that always made gaming great for me was making the impossible, not enough fantasy influence in gaming today, Way too much influence on real world locations. I like realism, in unrealistic settings though, gives the needed creative room

its the best city in the world

Kon4710d ago

Wait... that screenshot is in-game? That looks fantastic! Coincidently, i'm playing Vegas 2 now. Good game, but no R6 game can top Raven Shield

R2K-ZYRON4710d ago

what this game need is real life events.

BG3 has won everything possible. It's insane.
