Top 5 things people want to see from Battlefield 3 at E3 2011

GameZenith.com writes "With E3 coming next week, people are throwing all of their chips into that week with the expectations that many questions surrounding their most anticipated games would finally be answered. For me, one of those games is Battlefield 3 and is in my radar as a game of the year contender for many reasons I’ll save for a later article. I have made up my mind that I will buy the PC version of Battlefield 3 and I cannot wait for that, but there are still some questions that the general BF3 community has and are expecting to be answered at E3 2011." (Battlefield 3, E3, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

I am glad console footage is there. I would like also to see some type of story trailer because I can't see what direction this story is going. Is it trying to be realistic or is it going to be a bit more blockbuster. I hope blockbuster because the realism story will not fit with what we have seen so far (trailer and gameplay) imo. Keep realistic stories to games like ARMA. Their gameplay represents the story

The singleplayer follows BF2's "story". Basically all the middle eastern countries combined into one nation called the MEC (Middle Eastern Coalition). Together they were able to pull together quite a sizable army and started to attack the U.S. and Europe. Right now MEC is pushed back to Iran about (as suggested in the SP video). In fact, I think they were always being attacked by the US in BF2 instead of the other way around but IDK. On the other side of the world, the PLA(China) also started to attack the U.S..

Now in Bad Company, the MEC was aided by Russia so I don't know if they will start including Russia on the opposing team or not. BC's story is not going to be in the Battlefield universe so probably not. However, this would explain why they mentioned Paris as a map (since Paris would probably be attacked by Russia rather than MEC or PLA).

EU will also probably be in BF3 since they were in BF2 and they mentioned European cities as maps so expect to play as them at least in multiplayer :).

Long story short, it will be blockbuster.

Battlefield since 1942!
The ONLY thing I wanna see from Battlefield 3 is the game installed on my HDD!

I'm a Veteran BF Gamer and I've seen enough to know this is a Day 1 purchase! I reached for my wallet about 30 seconds after I caught my breath from jumping up and down in excitement after the first teaser trailer.

I'm with you ATiElite and want this game installed on PC now (well, at least there will be an upcoming beta to hold us off). Been a BF player since BF1942. In fact, it was that game that converted me into a PC gamer (especially the excellent Desert Combat Mod). BF3 is going to be epic!

Been a BF fan since they started. Have every single one of their games and expansions (Some I have two copies).

My first BF game was BC2 on ps3. Since then I've bought both BC1 and 1943. I'm extremely excited(to say the least) to play a real installment in the BF series.
