VGChartz writes: After a strong week for debuts a week ago, the biggest opening so far this year for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, L.A. Noire, occurred this week. This resulted in huge increases of software, up an overall 38 percent, as three other games debuted in the top 40. Hardware is up for the home consoles, as the Wii received a price cut in America and EMEAA, and down for the handhelds week on week. There are no hardware milestones this week. Software milestone this week: both versions of L.A. Noire shot past the 500,000 mark. Two games sold over 500,000, four sold over 100,000 and the top 17 sold over 50,000.
