Will The Last Guardian Be Showcased at E3 with No Ueda?

Will we still get some new info on The Last Guardian at E3?

what may come as a bit of disappointing news to some gamers, Fumito Ueda has confirmed on his Twitter account that he will not be attending this year’s E3 in Los Angeles. Obviously, this raises the question of whether or not gamers will be treated to a noteworthy reveal regarding The Last Guardian or any details related to the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection release.

Sony could certainly showcase the game regardless of Ueda’s presence, but that wouldn’t be very cool. After all, as much as gamers want to see the game in action, there’s no denying that special feel of having the actual lead designer present. Additionally, it’s always great to hear what the creator has to say about the game after a lengthy trailer or during a gameplay session.

i hope so a game like these not showing at E3 will be a big disappoinment.

Maybe, but this is definitely a Tokyo Game Show biggie for Sony. If they show anything, it will only be a bit... TGS should have the in depth showing.

Would be nice to see some actual gameplay of it.

When the PS Store comes back up there's a trailer on there with what I assume is gameplay i.e climbing, jumping, feeding barrels of an unknown substance to the giant turkey dog thing (Trico) and watching him/her gag.

Or just watch some here:

Everything we`ve seen from it is gameplay. I don`t think Team Ico has ever used CGI.

100 percent agree all gameplay for sure.

InfiniteJustice2549d ago

Even if he isn't there, some live gameplay would be a great way to show TLG off. Not sure who would be playing it, but I definitely want to see it at E3... somehow

thats true they could show Some gameplay they would probably use one of the main sony People hopefully Kevin Butler it would be the main Surprise of E3 lol.

they've saved it for TGS the past 2 years, i'm sure they're doing it again this year.

Lavalamp2549d ago

Actually, it's debut trailer was at E3 2009, with a second trailer shown at TGS 2009. 2010 was the year TGS got a trailer all to itself.

good call, i remember that now.
