Amazing CryEngine 3 Screenshots Show New Fantasy Area

PC Games released some stunning fantasy shots based on Cryteks CryEngine 3. The screenshots show the new gaming location Baboon's Cascades, that will include in Forged by Chaos, the upcoming online game from Panzar Studios.

Umm....Actually, The Witcher 2 has pretty much ruined EVERY other games graphical fidelity for me. Everything else looks like crap now. Same thing happened with Crysis.

Umm, hard to say if this really looks as good as we think. It looks great obviously, but when it comes to graphics, you can't judge it by looking at something from a distance. Most of those shots are like that.

What is the genre of the Panzar: Forged By Chaos game?
Panzar a third-party action, made in the spirit of the modern team network games. The main focus in the game is on the well-coordinated team play. Due to the fact that the game has leveling and character development, Panzar often mistakenly defined as a MMORPG, be we believe that Panzar is a MMO-Action with role-playing elements.

Will there be a single mode?
Unfortunately, Panzar not includes a single mode game. All the battles take place between the real players. In the future, will be added a special game mode, where players will have to face hordes of monsters. For example, jointly defend the castle from attack by the undead.

How many different maps are planned in the game?
At the release time the game will have 2-3 maps for the each game scenario.

What are the system requirements for the game?
Recommended system requirements

Processor: Dual Core 2,4 Ghz
RAM: 2Gb RAM
Video Card: 512 Mb Nvidia 8800 GTX or ATI Radeon HD 3870 or better

How exactly the leveling will be implemented?
According to the results of the battle, all the players who have completed the scenario will receive the experience points. Players who successfully completed the scenario (for example, took all the points in the "Messenger") will get additional experience. When a character accumulates the necessary amount of experience - the level goes up. As the level of the character grows, it will open up new abilities along with the ability to acquire more advanced armor.

On what stage of development is the project now? When the expected release of the game?
The game is in the final stages of development, the release is planned in the fall of 2011.

Will there be any tools for users to create maps and mods?
Unfortunately, our agreement with CryTek is not allow us to impart a level editor with the game.

Are there plans to support any other platforms besides PC?
Now the game is only for the PC. In the future, perhaps, the game will be ported to other platforms, but while this is not in the plans.

How much different classes and races will the game have?
There are 4 races in the game: Orcs, Dwarves, Elves and Humans. Each of these races has two classes. So, the game will have 8 different classes. Paladin and Inquisitor for the Humans, the Wizard and the Sorceress for the Elves, Berserk and Tank for the Orcs, and Saper along with Technic for the dwarfs.

What you can say about the combat system of the game?
The combat system in Panzar gamer is based on the competent interaction of players in the team. Since the game have 8 different classes, it is important that each player to play by his role. If you play Orc-Berserker, then your main task will be fighting on the frontlines. If you're more like playing a class that specializes on the ranged combat, then the Wizard-Elf is your choice. Players who like to help their colleagues should try the Paladin class, playing with it, you will not inflict much damage, but with your support any Orc will live several times longer. Those players who prefer a tactical action to the hurricane action, should pay attention to the Dwarf-Technic, a character which raise his guns, and helps the team to achieve tactical advantage on the map.
Thus, the specifics of the gameplay is very different depending on the character class. We hope, every one of you will find a suitable one.

I have to admit that in motion it's definitely a step up from Crysis. Some very nice environments and excellent use of motion blur and DOF.

I guess I shall eat a little crow now.

Starcraft 2 is an official sport, it honeslty makes other competitive games seem like child's play....That's my hope for this game

Looks fantastic. It's unfortunate that Crytek went multiplat. I feel that Crysis 2 would have been drastically better had it been a PC exclusive. Its a shame the PC is ball and chained to the console dinosaurs...
